Johan and Katie Knies' story
DrinkACT is an amazing product and company! I (Katie) will never
forget the day that I received a phone call from a
passionate, sincere, and authentic guy who introduced
us to $1 "feel good" energy drinks. We were working another
business, going nowhere fast due to the economy, and
humbly had to admit that we were not making the money we had
hoped for. My Pride told him at first that I thought we would
pass on the opportunity. However, the "$1 energy drinks"
statement kept ringing through my ear. Times have changed and
people make adjustments. Perhaps this was time for us to
find another solution for our dreams. We were also one of those
"casualties" of the economic crisis as I lost my job right
after Christmas with a one day notice. DrinkACT was definitely
an answer to our prayers.
We jumped in with both feet and ordered a Silver pak before
we ever received our first sample. When I drank my first
ACT, it was like my cells began to light up! I felt good
for hours and every day now we can't wait to get up and drink
our ACT! We are sleeping better at night and actually waking
up without an alarm clock! Johan works many days as a detention
officer for the county jail and speaks on Sundays to a "snowbird
church". He used to come home dragging, but now he comes home
thinking more clearly and some days feeling better than when he
left for work! Sharing ACT has become a lifestyle for us. The
more you drink it the more you love it! Our belief in the
product just continues to escalate every day as we hear more
and more stories of how ACT is impacting lives everywhere.
It is our goal to get Johan "out of jail" by summertime as
it has always been our dream to work together from home fulltime.
Johan has always been comfortable in network marketing. I on
the other hand have always stayed in my comfort zone and back
behind the scenes. But there must be "something" in this energy
drink cause now I can't keep my mouth shut and I love --yes love! --
working this business. I have never had so much fun in all my life!
We are so grateful for this company and the incredible people
we are privileged to work with. The support and team spirit
from our upline has surpassed anything we have ever experienced.
DrinkACT is refreshing (no pun intended) and a breath of
fresh air! Thank you Dave Byers and Penny Douglas -- you two
are amazing! And thank you DrinkAct!

Yummy & Quick Broiled Chicken Breast with Honey Mustard Sauce
This special honey-mustard sauce enhances the flavor of the chicken breast, while serving it with spinach adds even more nutrition to this great-tasting recipe. Enjoy!
Prep and Cook Time: 30 minutesIngredients:
- 4 boneless, chicken breasts with skin
- 2+1 TBS fresh lemon juice
- 1 ½ cups chicken broth
- 2 ½ TBS honey
- 2 TBS Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup sliced dried apricots
- 2 TBS coarsely chopped walnuts
- 1 TBS chopped parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Quick Broiled Chicken
- Preheat the broiler on high and place an all stainless steel skillet (be sure the handle is also stainless steel) or cast iron pan about 6 inches from the heat for about 10 minutes to get it very hot.
- While the pan is heating, rinse and pat the chicken dry and season with 2TBS lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Leaving the skin on, place the breast (skin side up) on the hot pan. It is not necessary to turn the breast because it is cooking on both sides at once. Depending on the size, it should be cooked in about 7 minutes. Begin preparing the sauce.
- The breast is done when it is moist, yet its liquid runs clear when pierced. The inside temperature needs to reach 165 degrees farenheit or 74 degrees celcius. Remove the skin before serving; it is left on to keep it moist while broiling.
Honey-Mustard Sauce
- For honey-mustard sauce, combine broth, 1TBS lemon juice, honey, and mustard in a small saucepan. Whisk together and bring to a boil on high heat. Once it comes to a boil, simmer for about 20 minutes. You want it to be reduced to a little less than half the volume you start with. This will thicken and intensify the flavor.
- Add apricots and cook on high for another 5 minutes. When sauce is done add chopped walnuts, parsley, salt and pepper.
Serve over cooked spinach or other cooked greens. Serves 4

Act Energy Drink and Body Trim Weight Loss UPDATE
I have been learning a lot about my body and foods that work best with me. Tonight (March 9th 2009) I had 5 oz of Tilapia, 15 spears of asparagus, 1 small tomato, 1 green onion. I cooked all foods together with about 2 cups of water, Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar and Braggs Aminos ( I love them), garlic, 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon and cayenne pepper. YUMMO!
In all it was about 250 calories and so very healthy! About 45 minutes before dinner I had a Body Trim. It really aides in hunger. I am very happy with my ACT and Body Trim!
I started my weight loss diary on February 3, 2009 and since that date I have lost 20 lbs! I have MANY more lbs to go. The first time in my life I feel that I can 'conquer' my fears and lose the weight!
